Overview
This document shows you how to set up buildings and spaces on your site. Setting up buildings and spaces is important for using tools like Request Management and Visitor Management. It also helps you segment information by different buildings.

Adding Levels

Adding Spaces
Once you have created your Buildings and Levels, you can add spaces to each of the levels.

Go to Settings > Buildings.
Here you will find a list of the existing Buildings and Levels in the Building Configuration table.
Select a Building and then a Level from the Building Configuration table.
Click + Add Space or the + button.
Enter the Space name, for example, Lift Lobby then press the tick or cross icon to confirm or delete.
Use the 3 dots to either delete or duplicate the space. Use the pencil icon to edit the space name.
To bulk upload Spaces, click the upload icon and paste required space names separated by comma or line break. Click Continue and then Upload if everything is correct.
Segmenting Spaces
You will need to choose who can raise a request for the spaces you add.
Building - Only users associated with a company linked to the building can submit requests for the space
Custom - A specific audience can be defined to submit requests for the space

By default, all spaces added using the bulk upload feature will have Building visibility. To change this, use the pencil icon. |
Select either Building or Custom.

If you select Building, there is nothing more you need to do, simply press Add Space (or Save Changes if you are editing an existing space).
If you select Custom, the segmentation widget will default to All. This setting will make the space available to all users at your site, regardless of the building their company is associated with.

To add a specific audience for this space, click the pencil icon and use the segmentation widget to select the audience.
For example, selecting one company who can raise requests for this space.

Then press Save Audience > Add Space (or Save Changes if you are editing an existing space).
Space visibility will be highlighted by either a Building or Custom tag next to the space.

Editing & Deleting Buildings, Levels or Spaces

Only Property Managers can delete buildings, levels or spaces. Flex Managers can amend spaces. |
Open Equiem One and log in.
Go to Settings > Buildings.
Here you will see the Buildings Configuration table with sections for Buildings, Levels and Spaces.
Hover over the Building, Level or Space you want to edit.
Use the up/down arrows to rearrange the order your Buildings, Levels or Spaces appear in the table and to users.
Use the pencil icon to rename any Building, Level or Space. Click the tick icon to confirm or the cross to cancel.
Use the 3 dots to either duplicate or delete a Building, Level or Space.
