Release Notes for the Period from 26th Feb 24 to 8th Mar 24
What's New?
Admin Panel Update: Contact Us Email Address
Go into the Admin Panel under General > Operational Settings to discover the new "Contact Us Email Address" field. This vital addition ensures that your users can reach out directly through both web and mobile platforms.
Remember, setting up this email is crucial for operational queries and Access Control issues. No email set means no "Contact Us" link, so make sure to personalize this to direct users efficiently.Website Improvement: Automatic Site Recognition
Now, when users reach out via the "Contact Us" link, the email they send will include the site name in the subject line, making it easier to identify and respond to user needs effectively. The web update is live, and a similar feature for mobile is on its way!

Android users, we've fixed the bug causing crashes when your app interacts with HID readers in the background. Plus, we've made adjustments to conditionally enable/disable background services for a smoother experience.
Version 10.2.0
Release date: 20th February 2024
Overview
We are excited to announce the release of Equiem Mobile version 10.2.0, available for both iOS and Android platforms. Users can download the latest version from the app stores.
Android
SwiftConnect's SDK Update: We have addressed an issue where SwiftConnect's SDK was requiring NFC capability on Android devices, which limited usage on devices without NFC. This update ensures broader compatibility and usability.
iOS
SwiftConnect Access Control Metric: A new metric has been introduced for iOS devices to track the addition of a mobile credential to Apple Wallet.
Stripe UI Integration in Payment Details: The payment details section, specifically for adding credit cards, has been updated to incorporate Stripe UI components. This change ensures compliance with PCI requirements, while keeping UI changes minimal.
Apple Wallet Integration for SwiftConnect: The Equiem app now includes Apple Wallet technology integration for SwiftConnect. This addition supports the UK team's use of a production demo site for an upcoming event at the end of February.
Registration Form Hint Text Correction: A minor correction has been made to the hint text on the registration form. It now correctly displays "Work email" instead of "Email" when signing up as a commercial user, ensuring consistency across both platforms.
General Updates
White Label Apps: Work on several WL apps is ongoing, with independent releases planned.
