Equiem One operates on a role-based interface, different roles are able to perform different actions and see different widgets based on the role they have been assigned.
A role represents a predefined set of permissions throughout a region, site or building.

Permission Level: Site/Instance
Role assigned by: Property Managers, Equiem Administrators
The Property Manager role grants access to all site settings, and is the overarching admin user for your platform. including:
This role is typically assigned to those who work for the building in a management position, for example, Property Managers, General Managers, Building Managers, and Marketing/Community Managers. Depending on the access level required, this permission may also be granted to Receptionists and Front of House Team Members in order to manage the platform, for example, by inviting and approving new users. |

Role assigned by: Workplace Managers, Property Managers, Equiem Administrators
The Workplace Manager role grants access to settings and features for their respective company only, including:
This role is typically assigned to your Key Tenant Contacts or those who work in positions such as Office Manager, HR Manager or Facilities Manager. You may also assign this role to your onsite/local retailers to enable them to create and share content with the building community. |

Role assigned by: N/A
A typical end user (tenant, employee, resident, visitor, member of the public) will have no role associated with their account. These are users who interact with the platform only as either a commercial, residential or visitor user to use the services, or read and interact with the information you provide.
There may be users who have access to more than one platform, for example, they may work at one location with an Equiem platform and be registered as a commercial user, and regularly visit another location with an Equiem platform where they are registered as a visitor.
An end-user has access to features including:
Liking, Commenting & RSVPing to content & events
Newsletters and communications
Answering polls
Ordering store products and finding deals*
Booking meeting rooms*
Inviting visitors*
Raising Requests*

Permission Level: Building
Role assigned by: Property Managers, Equiem Administrators
The Bookings Manager role is specific to platforms with the Bookings module. It allows for a user to complete various actions relating to company owned resources in their assigned building(s).
This role is typically assigned to Building Managers who manage bookable resources such as meeting rooms and amenities for a specific location, such as a building or buildings within a larger business park or campus. It may also be assigned to reception or security teams who are responsible for managing bookable spaces at a building(s). |
Please note, to be able to see and manage the resources, the Bookings Manager’s company needs to match the company that owns the resources, when registering on the system. |

Role assigned by: Property Managers, Equiem Administrators
The Bookings Observer role is specific to platforms with the Bookings module. It allows for a user to complete various actions relating to company owned resources in their assigned building(s).
This role is typically assigned to members of a building team such as receptionists, security teams or cleaners who need to have visibility of how the resource is being used, e.g. for setting up, but are not required to edit or manage the resources/bookings. |
Please note, to be able to see and manage the resources, the Bookings Manager’s company needs to match the company that owns the resources, when registering on the system. |

Role assigned by: Property Managers, Equiem Administrators
The Request Manager role is specific to platforms with the Request Management module. It allows for a user to complete various actions relating to requests in their assigned building(s).
This role is typically assigned to Property Managers responsible for overseeing an entire location, such as an office tower, or to Building Managers who focus on a specific location, such as a building or buildings within a larger business park or campus. Multiple queues can be created, which may have different Request Managers, who are responsible for a certain category of request e.g. a Cleaning Manager may be a Request Manager for the Cleaning queue. |

The Request Assignee role is specific to platforms with the Request Management module. It allows for a user to complete various actions relating to requests in their assigned building(s).
This role is typically assigned to contractors who work for the building/location such as cleaners, plumbers and electricians, these people will be responsible for resolving the request. |

Role assigned by: Property Managers, Equiem Administrators
The Request Reporter role is specific to platforms with the Request Management module.
The role allows these users to create and view requests, when their company only wants selected people to create requests.
This role is typically assigned to end users who make up part of a facilities or management team within a tenancy, that don’t already have the Workplace Manager role assigned. It is only required if the Request Management module has been configured for “only select users” to open requests at a company level. |
Permission Level: Building Reception or Tenant Reception
Role assigned by: Workplace Managers, Property Managers, Equiem Administrators
The receptionist role is specific to platforms with the Visitor Management module and is different to other roles in the Equiem One ecosystem as it is granted within the module itself as opposed to through the user settings.
This role is typically assigned to both building receptionists and tenant specific receptionists or security teams to complete receptionist duties for their location. A Property Manager or Building Manager may also be assigned this role to have an overview of the reception. |

Content Management System permissions are granted to allow users to create and manage content for their associated site(s).
Content Management permissions are typically granted to Receptionists, Property Managers, Building Managers and Community Managers who will be responsible for updating and managing the platform content. Permissions for the CMS are modular, allowing users to access one or more of the specific actions listed above, based on their needs. |

Permission Level: Site/Instance
Permission granted by: Equiem Administrators
Reporting dashboard permissions can be granted to allow users to access data for their site.
Reporting dashboard permission is typically granted to Property Managers, Building Managers and Community Managers who are responsible for monitoring usage trends, platform data, and generating reports. Any user granted access to the reporting dashboard will be able to see all data relating to their site. |

Permission granted by: Equiem Administrators, Store Manager Admins
Admin permissions for the Store Manager are granted to allow users to complete various actions for their Marketplace as a whole.
Store Manager admin permissions are typically granted to Receptionists, Property Managers, Building Managers and Community Managers who are responsible for managing the Marketplace on their platform, including inviting new vendors to register. |
Permission Level: Vendor Store
Permission granted by: Equiem Administrators, Store Manager Admins
Vendor permissions for the Store Manager are granted to allow vendors and their team to complete various actions for their vendor listing only.
Store Manager vendor permissions are typically granted to vendors and their team who are responsible for managing their store profile and any orders made through the Equiem platform. |
