Room Panel Screens are intended to be used within a secure device housing, preventing individuals within the building from being able to interact and use the device itself.

Important:
Room Panels are available to users with the Bookings Observer role within Equiem One. Please ensure a Property Manager is notified should a new user require the role for setting up Room Panels.

Recommendation:
Create a Service Account that allows for Login to Equiem One (Eg. roombookings@yourbuilding.com) to use for presenting resource availability.

Overview

We are excited to announce the release of our new Meeting Room Panel Screen feature, now available for sites that utilise meeting room panels outside of their resources. This new functionality enhances real-time visibility into meeting room availability by displaying up-to-date status directly on the panel. The screen will dynamically show whether a room is available or busy, updating instantly as resource bookings are made or modified.

  1. We recommend you create a new account on Equiem, e.g.: roombookings@yourbuilding.com - we don't recommend you log-in with your own credentials due to your elevated permission.

How to use Resources Room Panels

  1. Open Equiem One with a user that has the Bookings Observer role.

  2. Once logged in, update the URL via the browser to include “bookings/select-room” after the site URL. Eg. https://equiem.one/bookings/select-room

  3. Select the required resource for the display on the resource room panel.

  4. End Users can book resources as normal

  5. Rooms panel screens update automatically within 60 seconds to reflect the latest resource availability information.
