Overview
This document shows you how to set up buildings and spaces on your site. Setting up buildings and spaces is important for using tools like Request Management and Visitor Management. It also helps you organize information by different buildings.
Creating a Building
Open Equiem One and log in.
Click Settings from the left hand menu.
Click the Buildings tab. You will see a list of any existing buildings on the left hand side of the table.
Click the + button.
Input the name of your building e.g Building 1.
If the address of the building is the same as the main site address, leave the next section as Enabled. If the address of the building you are creating is different from the main site address, click select Enabled from the drop down list under the Enable a Building Address section. Search for the address of the building.
This ensures that any visitors to site have the correct address for the building they are visiting. The building should still be part of your site.
Optional: Enter the area of the building using either Square Feet or Square Meters. You can change the unit using the drop down box next to the Area.
Optional: Enter the number of occupants (as if the building was full in this building.
