Before you begin creating your building, you will need the following information:
Building name(s)
Building area, also known as Net Lettable Area (in either square feet or square metres)
Total occupancy if the building was full
All levels in the building
Confirmation of any Areas in order to use across segmentation e.g low-rise (if applicable)
To begin, head to Site Settings and navigate to the Buildings button on the left-hand side:
Select your site or utilize the Search Bar to search for it.
Select Create New Building, and then enter the name of your building, (e.g Tower 1) followed by the Area of the building. To change the unit of measurement, use the drop-down menu. You can choose from Square Feet or Square Metres. Then add the total number of occupants (as if the building was full) for your building.
If required, you can choose to add an address for the building that is different for the main address held for the site. This can be set up for Visitor Management purposes if required.
Press Save once complete.
