Notifications

Equiem One is a place for collaboration where we will connect everyone responsible for a building’s operations from owners, asset managers, property managers to workplace managers, facilities teams and everyday employees.

We are unlocking two key profiles - Property Managers and Workplace Managers - and allowing them to work hand in hand on employee engagement.

With Equiem One, you are offering the opportunity to the Workplace Managers of your buildings (also known as Tenant Representatives) to share their News and open their Events to the building community. News and Events suggested by Workplace Managers will either be moderated by the Property Manager or the Community Manager at a site.

We are also allowing Workplace Managers to invite new or existing employees to join the building platform so we can all work together on increasing registrations.

Via the notification module which is located next to your Profile and Help section, you will receive the suggestions from your Workplace Managers.

  1. For instance, a Workplace Manager can suggest an News or Event post
e.g. Helene Nancy, Workplace Manager at KPMG, has submitted a News Post “Join KPMG to walk Oxfam”.

  2. You will get notified a News Post is pending with a link to review the content in the back-end
e.g. Helene Nancy (KPMG) has submitted a news post "Join KPMG to walk Oxfam

  3. Once the content you have reviewed, approved and published the post, the Workplace Manager gets notified their News post is live
e.g. Helene Nancy receives: Your news post “Join KPMG to walk Oxfam” was approved and published.

How do Notifications work?

Your unread notifications are marked with a blue dot which disappears once you have clicked on the notification.

When you hover over a notification with your mouse, it becomes blue with the option to delete the notification via the cross “x”.

Once you hit the cross to delete the post, you will get a toast alert at the bottom of the page which allows you to undo your action and restore the notification.

There are two types of notifications for property managers :

  • News Post submitted for approval by workplace manager

  • Event Post submitted for approval by workplace manager

The notification includes the avatar of the workplace manager + their first name and surname + their company in brackets.

When you click on the notification, the blue dot disappears from the notification and it opens a new tab to the post page in the back-end so you can review and publish the post.

If you do not delete your notifications, you will be able to scroll infinitely through the menu to see older notifications.
