Promoted discounts for Vendors
It's possible to promote a discount code so that it shows up on the store page of both the Web and Mobile app. Only one active discount code can be promoted at any given time. You will be prevented from adding more than one and shown a warning banner indicating an existing discount is promoted, including the name of it. The below images illustrate how these promotional banners look on both the Web and Mobile app.
For further information relating to promoting a discount code, see the video tutorial in this course called "[Discount Codes - Vendor] - Creating a discount - Promotional Settings section".
Web Example
The below example shows you how the promotion shows on Web. The section is pinned and cannot be moved. As part of promoting a discount, it can be segmented. If a discount is segmented, and you aren't in the audience, it won't show up for you.
The discount banner consist of the following:
The title of the discount (Get an extra 20% off)
The subtitle (At participating vendors)
The T&C's link (this opens up a modal as shown in the 2nd screenshot)
The code name on the far right (this can be clicked on to copy the code to your clipboard)
T&C's Modal
When a user clicks on the T&C's link on the banner, it will show them a modal of any terms and conditions associated with the discount. This section consists of the following, all of which are configured on the form when creating a discount code:
Total redemption limit per user (If this applies)
Valid between (If this applies. It will include the date range and also any restricted days and times)
The final section of text comes from a field in the discount code creation form called 'Terms and conditions'. Here you can add additional terms and conditions that you want to show to the user.
Mobile Example
The below example shows you how the promotion shows on Mobile on iOS. The section is pinned beneath the image at the top of the catalogue page. As part of promoting a discount, it can be segmented. If a discount is segmented, and you aren't in the audience, it won't show up for you.
The discount banner consist of the following:
The title of the discount (Get an extra 20% off)
The subtitle (At participating vendors)
The T&C's link (this opens up a new screen as shown in the 2nd screenshot)
The code name on the far right (this can be clicked on to copy the code to your clipboard)
