What are Product Modifiers

Product Modifiers are easy to configure options that are available for a product. There are three types of Product Modifier that can be set:
Single Choice - used when customers need to pick just one option e.g. Sandwich Bread could be Brown, White or Sub
Multiple Choice - used when customers can customise their product e.g. Sandwich Fillings could be Chicken and Avocado and Cheese.
Free Text - used when customers need to leave a comment e.g. Gift Message for their order, or requested delivery date for catering.
Once you have created Product Modifiers these are added to the Choices Management section of the product Catalogue, so you can add the same modifiers to new products, for example all Coffee products may have the same choice of Milk, Oat Milk, Soy Milk.
Also, if one element of your Modifiers is out of stock, you can quickly remove it as an option from all products in the Choices Management rather than having to update each product individually.
