Creating a Deals Vendor

All Vendors can add Deal products to their existing store, or site managers can create Deals Vendors to provide exposure for retailers that are not transacting via the platform.

Deals Vendor products are managed only by the site manager, rather than by the Vendor themselves. If the Vendor wants to manage their own deals, they will need to follow the Vendor registration process to become a Standard Vendor. 

To create a new Deals Vendor, open the Store Manager. 

Click Vendor Settings on the left-hand menu.

Click Create New Deals Vendor at the top right-hand corner.

This will take you to the following page, where you can enter the Vendor details such as name, description, website and address, as well as upload an image for the Vendor. There is also the option to add a Third-party URL for a Deals Vendor (note, this will bypass the vendor details page including any deals and navigate the user straight to the third party URL).

You will then need to select a Category for the vendor from the pre-determined list. This will decide which tile your vendor will show under in the Marketplace. 

You can then change your Vendor Status from Hidden to Live.

Click Save at the top of the page to finalise any changes.

Your Deals Vendor will then display in your list of Vendors on the Vendor Settings and Catalogue pages and you can click on them to make changes to the vendor details as per the above steps, or to add new deals as per the Creating a Deal section of this course.
