Setting Statuses
Overview
This document shows you how to set up statuses on your site. Setting up statuses is important for using Request Management.
The second step to configure Request Management is to define the Statuses that will be used to track and communicate the progress of requests or tasks.
Request Management provides a list of default Statuses listed in the table below.
Status Types | Sub-Statuses |
Not Started | Returned Awaiting Assignment |
In Progress | Scheduled On hold Awaiting parts |
Completed | Resolved Unresolved No action required |
Setting Statuses
If you want to edit the statuses provided, delete some or create new ones, you can easily do so by following the steps below:
Click “Settings”.
The first tab is to set statuses.
Status type cannot be amended (used for reporting).
Statuses can be amended, deleted or you can add new statuses. To add a new status, click the + icon.
Type new status and click enter. Then the new status is created. You rearrange the order using the arrow button highlighted below.
Click the three dot icon if you want to delete the status.
Confirm your decision by clicking Yes, delete.
