How to add a Delivery Method
Open the Store Manager, click on Site Settings in the left-hand menu.
Go to the Delivery methods section, and click Add delivery method.
Choose a name for your delivery method, this will be seen by customers on the Cart page, under Delivery, so choose something straightforward and easy to understand.
Select whether your Delivery Method is for Pick Up (Collection) or for Delivery. If your method is for Pick Up, you should check the box at the bottom to Show vendor location to user, so the customer knows where to collect their order from.
Enter a short description of your delivery method, this will help Vendors choose the right methods when setting up their store.
If Vendors need to carry out an additional step in the order process, for example, collect the product from the locker by a specific timeline, enter this into the Vendor Instruction. The customer does not see these.
If Customers need to carry out an additional step, for example, enter their preferred delivery address, add this to the Customer Instruction. The customer sees these at the checkout stage of their order. Vendors can also add additional instructions, on top of the site defaults.
If the delivery method is only available for a particular time period e.g. breakfast delivery 07.00 - 11.00 then please enter this. Leave it blank for 24/7 availability.
Finally, once you've made all your changes select the Save button once you are finished to save the delivery method.
An email notification will be sent to all the vendors on that store, notifying them that a new delivery method is available for them to support, if they choose to.
