Campaign Summary

Campaign Type: Event
Campaign Objective: Drive Awareness & Increase Registrations

Drive registrations with this easy to run giveaway.

Promote the Building Platform to tenants as they arrive to work, choosing a peak footfall time is a great way to get in front of the maximum number of people.

Provide a complimentary breakfast to encourage registration and active usage. Tenants must register, or prove they have already registered, to redeem their free breakfast.

Campaign Delivery

  1. Source and arrange a supplier to provide breakfast for the event based on your footfall numbers and budget.

    Items to consider:

    • Where will you hold the event? (We recommend a busy communal area to encourage occupiers who haven’t seen the platform promotion to take part/drive registrations)

    • How many servings will you require?

    • Who will manage the event? Will the provider be able to distribute the portions as you manage registrations? Do you need promo staff?

    • Do you need the supplier to provide display trays, serving utensils (e.g. tongs) and napkins?

    • Will they have access to a power source? Do they need one?

    • Can you use a local retailer?

    Equipment

    • You will need a device per team member for the event, e.g. a mobile, tablet or laptop.

    • Table(s) to lay out the catering onto

    • Table cloth(s), we recommend black

Tip:
Keep breakfast simple with grab-and-go options such as pastries and whole fruit. Try to avoid anything that requires refrigeration or to be kept warm.

  1. We recommend ordering signage and flyers for this event. If your budget allows, create and order materials to promote the event onsite including the date, time and location. This should include a QR code for the App and the URL to encourage occupiers to register prior to and on the day of the event. We recommend flyers, easel signs and digital signage (if applicable).

In addition, branded t-shirts for the event team are a nice touch. You could include your building logo, the app QR code and platform URL.

  1. Locate the post titled ‘Join us for the launch of your [BUILDING] Platform’ in the Content Management System and edit and publish the post at least a week before your event.

Ensure the Shareable Content box is ticked and set to publish immediately so any early adopters are aware of the event date.

Note:
Make sure you have copied and  activated your launch campaign of content as a first step, otherwise you will not be able to find launch content in the CMS.

  1. Send an email to the Workplace Managers/Key Tenant Contacts, letting them know that you are encouraging registrations to the platform. Ask them to share this with their teams.

Copy the Shareable Content link from the piece of content in the Content Management System and include this in your email for them to share with their teams.

  1. Check in with the provider to ensure the logistics of the event have been confirmed e.g arrival times, parking, insurance documents, setting up the giveaway etc.

If you have a lot of parties involved it may be useful to put together a run sheet.

  1. On the event day engage with occupiers walking past, encourage them to sign up to the platform (if they are not already a member) in order to get free breakfast. Talk to them about what they can do with the platform, the benefits of using the platform, any upcoming events or key information that they might need to know which can be found on the platform.

Encourage tenants to scan the QR code on signage to download the app and click through to complete their registration once downloaded. Encourage them to use their work email address to register, this ensures that they are automatically approved (Note - this is not required for residential or public users).

If occupiers are pushed for time, you can also send them an email invite to register later, using the Registration tool.

Take photos of members with their breakfast to share on the platform following the event.
