Campaign Summary

Campaign Type: Migration & Adoption Campaign
Campaign Objectives: Migrate users, drive registrations & drive adoption

Encourage users to switch to and adopt their new platform with this migration campaign.

Tease the release of a new app with a series of content in the lead up to the switchover day.

Incentivise switching with an initial competition, promotion of the benefits of the new app and a feedback campaign.

Support this with onsite signage and a celebratory event to drive registrations and reward loyal users for making the switch.

Campaign Delivery

  1. This campaign is made up of five elements:

    1. Content & Email Campaign

    2. Marketing Materials

    3. Switch to Win Competition

    4. Breakfast Registration Event

    5. Feedback Competition

Depending on your budget, you might choose not to run some elements. As a minimum, we strongly recommend you run elements 1 - 3.

  2. Source and order your prize(s) depending on how many competitions you are running and how many prizes you would like to giveaway.

We recommend prizes that appeal to a wide range of users to encourage participation e.g tech prizes, food and drink, or vouchers.

  3. Create and order signage informing occupiers how to download their new app.

If your budget allows, we also recommend ordering posters and table tents.

  1. If your budget allows, we recommend holding a breakfast registration event to encourage occupiers to download and register for their new app.

  1. Reach out to your Key Tenant Contacts by email, informing them of the upcoming change and advising them that they will shortly receive an invite to join the platform. Ask them to share the update with their team members, incentivising registering for the new platform with your chosen prize and including information about the upcoming breakfast event (if applicable). We recommend encouraging them to invite their employees using Equiem One.

You might also like to hold a short demo session with your Key Tenant Contacts to introduce them to the new Equiem platform and bring them on the journey. If you would like to run this element, include meeting information in your initial email.

Invite your Key Tenant Contacts to join the platform via Equiem One, pre-assigning them the Workplace Manager role.

6. Copy the content templates provided into News Articles on your spaceOS platform and edit them where indicated by the square brackets. You will need to ensure the content reflects whether users need to update their existing app, download a new white label app or download the Equiem app. Check with your Onboarding Specialist if you are unsure.

Schedule them to go live in line with your migration timeline. We recommend publishing the first piece of content titled ‘An exciting change to your [BUILDING] app is coming’ around three weeks ahead of the app switch over date.

  1. The Equiem team will add migration content to your new Equiem platform introducing your members to their new platform and informing them how to use key tools.

Using your Equiem Content Management System, review the content pieces that have been assigned to you and make any changes as required. When you are happy, set them to publish ahead of the migration kick off date.

  2. Send a push notification from your spaceOS platform to encourage users to register for the new web platform ahead of the app launch.

  3. Check your New User Invite widget on Equiem One to see if Key Tenant Contacts have sent any invites to their employees. Follow up with those you emailed to check they have been able to share the update with their teams and encourage them to invite their employees using the widget.

Alternatively, you can invite existing users from your spaceOS platform to your new Equiem platform via Equiem One yourself.

  4. On the day the new Equiem or white labelled app goes live, be sure to send a push notification to users on the spaceOS platform, encouraging them to register and download/upgrade to the new app. If you have a hard switch over date, make sure this is clearly communicated in your notification to ensure users know they will no longer be able to access their spaceOS platform after the specified date.

Send a Single Post Notification from the Equiem Platform to welcome users to the new app.

  5. After the competition end date, choose a winner at random of the Switch to Win competition from the user settings in Equiem One. Contact them to arrange delivery or collection of their prize.

Take a photo of them with their prize and share this in a winner’s announcement post on the platform.

  6. We recommend running a second migration competition to encourage users to use the new comment feature and find out what they like most about their new platform.
