Campaign Delivery
Source and order your prizes. We recommend 3 prizes for the top 3 places. We recommend choosing prizes that are appealing to a wide audience, don’t choose a prize that only relates to dog owners, for example. Choose something that makes the competition inclusive such as a voucher to a store which sells a variety of pet gifts.
Locate the content titled ‘Win a [PRIZE] in our pet picture competition!’ in the Content Management System. Fill in and amend the details as indicated by the square brackets. You will need to decide when you would like the entry period to open and close. We recommend opening the entries two weeks after the go live date and running for one week.
Once you have made the changes, set the content to publish on your chosen date.
Tip:
You can choose to have members email the photos directly to you or you can set up a JotForm which can be embedded into the content.
Note:
Make sure you have activated your launch campaign of content as a first step, otherwise you will not be able to find launch content in the CMS.
Include the content in your newsletter or send a Single Post Notification.

Throughout the entry period, download photos entered and either begin uploading them in a JotForm gallery or directly into the photo voting news post titled ‘Vote now for your favourite pet picture!’.
If you are inserting images directly into the News Post, we recommend making all the photos a similar size.
At the end of the entry period, upload all the photos entered into the voting News Post (either embedding a JotForm gallery or in the body of the content) and remove the first competition post from the Featured Feed. Make sure that all photos are numbered and include any name/caption provided by the member who entered the photo. This will make it easier for members to place their votes.
Edit the content where indicated by the square brackets, including the closing date for the votes. We recommend a minimum of one week voting period. Once you have made the changes, publish the content on your chosen date.
Send the voting content in your next Newsletter or send a Single Post Notification to encourage participation.
At the end of the voting period, count the votes to determine the winner. Contact the winners and arrange collection/delivery of their prizes. Be sure to take a photo of the winners with their prizes.
Fill in and amend the Winner Announcement post titled ‘Congratulations to the winner of our Pet Picture Competition’, including the winning photos and any pictures you have of the winners with their prizes.
Include this in your next Newsletter. Ensure all competition content is removed from the Featured Feed after 10 days.
