Communication Use Cases

When should you use each of our communication types?

Our sophisticated communication suite provides you with a variety of ways to communicate with your members, but which way is best? Read on below to find use cases for each communication type.

Newsletter
A branded Newsletter is made up of up to 8 pieces of existing platform content. We recommend a weekly or fortnightly Newsletter for the best engagement results, but monthly is great too!

Use cases:

  • Keeping your members up to date with all the latest news, events & announcements. 

  • Welcoming a new occupier to the building with a segmented newsletter

  • Dedicated events newsletter e.g 'What's on this month?'

Single Post Notification
A branded email that highlights one piece of content.

Use cases:

  • Reminding users of an onsite event

  • Sharing an important announcement

  • Driving engagement on a specific campaign e.g 'Last chance to have your say in our survey!'

Email Notification
A branded email that is not necessarily associated with an existing piece of content.

Use cases:

  • Important building announcements

  • Regular comms to tenant reps

Push Notification
A notification users receive on both web & mobile. This can link to a specific piece of content or just be text.

Use cases:

  • Reminders for events

  • Prompts to engage with specific content

  • Last minute retail deals

Note: If a user has switched off push notifications at a device level, we cannot override this so we don't recommend using this communication type for important announcements.

SMS
A text message sent to users who have added their number to their platform account.

Use cases:

  • Important building announcements or emergencies only
