Company payment methods

When a company has the payment method chosen (credit card, Stripe), an app admins can start invoicing their clients for the provided services. At the beginning, we have to determine if we want to:

*use booking points only*

use real currency.

The current payment method options available in the app are:

*credit card (via Stripe)

*ACH transfer (via Stripe)

*manual payment (cash/bank transfer).

Choosing a payment method for your client

You can choose the payment method a certain company will be paying with when sending out an offer to a potential client. You can also see the chosen payment method for a company in the app by entering: 

Company profile --> Edit --> Payment method

Invoicing

An invoice can be generated automatically X days before the billing period starts or manually by admins. 

When the invoice gets reviewed and is issued (automatically by spaceOS or manually by admin), an email with the invoice attached is sent to the customer. 

Then the invoice is in a pending state until it changes its status to paid. 

To see the current status of an invoice turn on the admin mode and go to the invoices tab. 

Setting up your invoicing details

To issue an invoice you will first need to add your companies invoicing details to the app. 

To do so go to Settings --> Invoicing & Offers

You will need to fill in the following tabs:

- company details

- invoice payment and release

- invoice branding- invoice naming

Company credit card

If the company will be paying via a credit card they will need provide company credit card details so that the app can charge the card directly. 

A company admin can add credit card details during the onboarding process. The card is then safely stored in the company payment tab. 

If a company would like to change the default card they will need to do this in the payment tab. 

Setting the value of points

If you have decided to use points in the app you can change their value in the Inventory section of the admin panel. Inventory --> Booking points --> Edit ---> Currency conversion
