Adding Products

Products are items added to your catalogue that users can purchase through the app or web platform, for example, food and drink menu items, gift baskets, and services such as dry cleaning.

Adding a Product

  1. Open the Store Manager, then click Catalogue on the left-hand side menu.

  2. Click Add Product and select Plain to create a standard product

Item Information

  1. First, add an Image, by choosing from your files on your device. When added this will show you the two views for the Product on the platform, the header and the thumbnail. You can delete the image or click the pencil icon to change the focal point of the image.

Although the image is not required, we recommend adding an image for every product otherwise the product will display with a placeholder image to end users.

  1. Create a Title for your product, then add a Product Description. This should be a short description that is shown on the product preview in your Marketplace.

  1. Set the Status of your product, either Hidden or Live. Only products that are set to Live will be visible to users.

  2. Enter the price of the product and select your tax rate, the currency and tax rates will be set by region. If stock is limited, enter the number available, if it is unlimited leave this section blank.

  3. Select the Category for your product; you can choose from existing vendor product categories or create a new one by typing the new name. Please note that new categories are case sensitive. If you are adding a new category, you will need to click on the new name or press the return/enter key in order to save it.

  4. The Sites section will show the building(s) your store will be going live at

  5. You can choose to segment your product so that only a specific audience within the building can see it, for example, a new company that have moved in. We recommend leaving the audience set to All unless the building team have specified otherwise. See our segmentation guides here for more information.

Product Modifiers

Product Modifiers allow the user to customise their order with available options for a product, for example, choosing the milk for their coffee.

  1. Tick Add Modifier and Add Modifier Type

  2. Add a Modifier Name e.g Milk Choice

  3. Select if your modifier should be a Single Choice (for example, milk choice), Multiple Choice (for example, salad toppings) or Free Text (for example, any allergy information). You can also choose to make the modifier a mandatory choice for the user

  4. Type your choice names (note: these are case sensitive), or select from your pre-existing modifiers from the drop-down list. If your modifier has an additional cost, type this in or type in 0.00 if it is an included choice. Click Add to save your choice and to add more modifiers.

  5. Repeat the process as required to add multiple modifiers

Providing Additional Information

Some products will require the vendor to provide additional information, for example, the allocated Parking Bay number, or locker pin code. You can tell the customer that you will provide them with additional information after purchase when creating or editing products.

  1. Check the button to Provide User with additional information. Tell the user what type of information you will provide them with after purchase and click Add.

Different Turnaround Time

If you have a product that requires a different turnaround time to the standard for your store, you can specify this on the product.

  1. Tick Add different turnaround time and specify the details

Restricted Hours

If your product is available only on certain days of the week e.g. Friday Happy Hours, or at certain times of the day e.g. Breakfast Items, or are seasonal e.g. Christmas Hampers, you can set a restricted date range, day of the week or time of day for each product.

  1. Tick Add restricted hours and specify the product’s availability. If a user views this product outside of the availability they will see a message that lets them know when the product is next available.

Terms and Conditions

If your product has any terms and conditions, you can add these on a product by product basis, using links and images where required.

  1. Tick Add Terms & Conditions and input the relevant information in the box

Saving & Going Live

  1. Press Save at the end of your product creation

You will now be able to see your product in your Catalogue.

  1. Use the eye icon to make the product hidden or live as required quickly.
