Adding a Ticked Event (Bookable Product)
General Information
Open the Store Manager, then click Catalogue on the left-hand side menu.Â
Select Add Product > Booking
Â
Add an image related to the bookable product you are adding, for example, a yoga class. Select this from your device. You can delete the image or click the pencil icon to change the focal point of the image.
Add a title and description. The description will be shown to customers on the app.
Set the status of your bookable product to either Hidden or Live. You might choose to keep this hidden whilst you are adding the details and switch to live when you are ready.
Enter the price of the session and select your tax rate.
You will need to have connected your Stripe account before you can add paid-for events
Select the Category for your bookable product. You can choose from the drop down list or create your own, for example, Fitness Classes. If you are adding a new category, you will need to click the name of the new category once you have typed it or press the return/enter key to select it.
You can choose to segment your product so that only a specific audience within the building can see it, for example, a new company that has moved in or commercial users only. We recommend leaving the audience set to All unless the building team have specified otherwise. See our segmentation guides here for more information.
Bookable Product Modifiers
Product Modifiers allow the user to customise their order with available options for a product, for example, adding on a smoothie to enjoy after their yoga class.
Tick Add Modifier and Add Modifier Type
Add a Modifier Name e.g Post-class Smoothie
Select if your modifier should be a Single Choice (for example, Smoothie choice), Multiple Choice (for example, salad toppings) or Free Text (for example, any relevant medical conditions for the instructor). You can also choose to make the modifier a mandatory choice for the user
Type your choice names (note: these are case sensitive), or select from your pre-existing modifiers from the drop-down list. If your modifier has an additional cost, type this in or type in 0.00 if it is an included choice. Click Add to save your choice and to add more modifiers.
Repeat the process as required to add multiple modifiers
Setting Availability for your Event/Session
In this section, you will customise the availability of your session or event.
If your event/session runs between certain dates only, input the date it will run from/to using the calendar picker. If you leave this section empty, sessions will be available to book year round.
In addition to restricting Bookings between set dates, they can also be restricted to certain days of the week. These can be set independently or in conjunction with the restricted dates. Neither is a required field. If no days are selected, the product will be shown on each day of the week. Tick the days your session is available on.
Add the start and end times for your session. If you have multiple sessions available throughout the day, for example, a morning and afternoon yoga class, add additional sessions using the Add Session button.
Add a capacity if applicable. Users will not be able to book once a capacity has been reached. If there are an unlimited number of spaces, leave this section blank.
Enter details about the session, or class, in the Session Info field. This will be shown on the detailed view of the product and also in the booking dashboard.ÂEnter the location of where the session is being held so the user knows where to go.
Restrictions, Attendees & Additional Information
Choose if you would like to add a minimum notice period for sessions, for example, a yoga class that cannot be booked less than 30 minutes before the session starts. Tick the box and enter the time limit if you wish to enable this.
Â
You can choose for users to bring attendees who have not booked a session through the platform, for example, a friend who doesn’t work in the building. To enable this functionality, tick the Allow Attendees box. Attendees will count towards the capacity of the event (if applicable) and any ticket/extras cost set up for the session will apply to each attendee.
Select if you would like to allow users to cancel their own sessions. You can also add a time limit before the session in which a user can cancel their booking.
If you need to provide attendees with any additional information before the session, for example, a code to open the studio door, check the Provide user with additional information box. Type the information you will provide them.
Add any terms and conditions, if applicable. The user will need to accept these before booking the session.
