Enabling Booking Cancellations

Enabling Booking Cancellations allows end-users to cancel their own booking in advance of the event date. 

You can either enable Booking Cancellations on existing products or when setting up new bookings products.

Open the Store Manager, then click Catalogue on the left-hand side menu. 

Site Managers, you will need to select the appropriate Vendor from the list provided. Vendors, skip straight to the next step.

Choose the product you'd like to Edit or follow instructions earlier in this course to add a new bookings product.

Scroll down the form you can see a section called 'Allow user to cancel'

Select this option which will enable end-users to be able to cancel their booking order themselves. Additionally, it will expand a section where you can add a time limit.

The time limit can be in minutes, hours or days. It enables you to set a minimum time limit, before the session starts, whereby users are no longer able to cancel their booking. If this time limit is passed, the button to cancel will not be shown.

If no time limit is set then the cancel option will show up, up until the point where the session starts.
