Enabling Booking Attendees

Enabling Booking Attendees allows end-users to choose how many total attendees are coming to a booking session. They do not necessarily have to be platform members, depending on the event.

You can either enable Booking Attendees on existing products or when setting up new bookings products.

Open the Store Manager, then click Catalogue on the left-hand side menu. 

Site Managers, you will need to select the appropriate Vendor from the list provided. Vendors, skip straight to the next step.

Choose the product you'd like to Edit or follow instructions earlier in this course to add a new bookings product.

Scroll down the form until you can see a section called 'Allow Attendees'. Click to enable it for the booking. This will enable Attendees for all sessions on the Booking Product. Click save when all the relevant fields are complete.

Important Reminders:

  • For Booking Products with a cost associated, enabling Attendees will alter the cost on the platform to cost per person

  • For Booking Products with cost modifiers associated, the modifier cost is also based per person

  • End users will be able to select their total attendees on the Booking Product - the total Attendees includes themselves

  • End users will not be able to specify who their Attendees are, only how many

  • Total Attendees count towards the capacity of the session. If a user tries to select a total number of Attendees that exceeds the capacity of the session, they will not be able to place the order

  • If you are using the Check-in app for your event, you will only be able to check in the one user who placed the Booking, not each of their Attendees

  • If you cancel a booking, this will cancel the booking for all Attendees. It is not possible to partially cancel bookings.
