Overview

The Permit essential documents feature forces the permit applicant to download specified documents before they can apply for a permit.

Adding Essential Documents to Permits

  1. Click Admin at the top of the page

  2. In the permits section, click Manage Permit Essential Documents

  3. Click Add New

  4. Give the document a label (title)

  5. Choose the permit type the document should be available for, if it’s all permits leave the template type set to Any

  6. Click on choose file to browse for your file

  1. Repeat the above process to add all required files

  2. To update an existing file you need to delete the old file and add a new one using the instructions above

Setting House Rules for digital permit sign off

If your site is using digital sign off for permits, you can set a house rules and regulations as a link in the permit sign off screen:

Click on set house rules in the permit essential documents section, a list of documents will appear, select the document you’d like to use as the house rules.

Contractor/Permit Application

When a contractor/tenant applies for a permit they will now be asked to download and read any documents applicable for the permit they are applying for.

The first screen appears as normal:

The next screen will then ask the applicant to download any documents and then tick to say they have read them:

The applicant will not be able to continue applying for the permit without first downloading then ticking the Read box.
