Contractor Arrival on Site

The contractor should visit the security team when they arrive on site so they can digitally sign the permit.

The security team will be able to find the relevant permit on the tablet, click on the permit number then hand the tablet to the contractor to click ‘Accept’.

Once the contractor clicks accept, a pop up will appear:

They should fill in their name, tick and agree to the questions and then digitally sign the permit.

The contractors signature now appears on the digital version of the permit:

Once the contractor has completed their work, they will return to the security office to close off the permit.

The security team will find the permit and hand the tablet to the contractor to click ‘Completed’.

The PM team will now be notified the permit has been completed and they can review and follow the steps to close the permit.
