Outlook to spaceOS

When the meeting is created via Microsoft Outlook, the sync follows these steps:

  • The meeting is created in the organizer's Outlook calendar

  • At the same time, it is created in the Room Calendar in spaceOS

  • Outlook checks if any of the other participants are also Outlook users and sends invitations to them

  • If there are external participants, Outlook sends invitations to their email addresses

  • spaceOS creates a new booking, checks if any of the meeting participants are not Outlook users and are not included in Active Directory, and sends invitations to them directly

Updating Meeting

When the meeting is updated via Microsoft Outlook, the sync follows steps similar to the creation of a new meeting:

  • The meeting is updated in the organizer's Outlook calendar

  • At the same time, it is updated in the Room Calendar in spaceOS

  • Outlook checks if any of the other participants are also Outlook users and sends an update to them

  • If there are external participants, Outlook sends an update to their email addresses

  • spaceOS updates a booking, checks if any of the meeting participants are not Outlook users and are not included in Active Directory, and sends an update to them directly

Meeting Cancellation

When the meeting is canceled via Microsoft Outlook, the sync follows steps similar to the creation of a new meeting:

  • The meeting is canceled in the organizer's Outlook calendar

  • At the same time, it is canceled in the Room Calendar in spaceOS

  • Outlook checks if any of the other participants are also Outlook users and sends a cancellation letter to them

  • If there are external participants, Outlook sends a cancellation letter to their email addresses

  • spaceOS cancels a booking, checks if any of the meeting participants are not Outlook users and are not included in Active Directory, and sends a cancellation letter to them directly
