spaceOS to Outlook

When the meeting is created via spaceOS, the sync follows these steps:

  • The meeting is created in the Room Calendar

  • Outlook checks if any of the other participants are also Outlook users and sends invitations to them

  • If there are external participants, Outlook sends invitations to their email addresses

  • spaceOS checks if any of the meeting participants are not Outlook users and are not included in Active Directory, and sends invitations to them

Updating Meeting

When the meeting is updated, the synchronization process follows similar steps:

  • The meeting is updated in the Room Calendar

  • Outlook checks if any of the other participants are also Outlook users and sends updates to them

  • If there are external participants, Outlook sends updates to their email addresses

  • spaceOS checks if any of the meeting participants are not Outlook users and are not included in Active Directory, and sends updates to them

Meeting Cancellation

When the meeting is canceled via spaceOS, the synchronization process follows these steps:

  • The meeting is canceled in the Room Calendar

  • Outlook checks if any of the other participants are also Outlook users and sends cancellation letters to them

  • If there are external participants, Outlook sends cancellation letters to their email addresses

  • spaceOS checks if any of the meeting participants are not Outlook users and are not included in Active Directory, and sends cancellation letters to them directly
