New Functionalities

Booking Flow Revamp

Upgrade the flow of booking a space with the possibility to select specific days, change the participants of the booking (book as someone else), and user-friendly booking panel on the right hand side.

The Flow of Choosing the Booking

In Bookings, when you do not choose any filters (you leave them blank), and you click the space you’d like to book, you will see the side menu on the right-hand side with today’s date and time by default. You can modify it by clicking Edit.

When you click info button, a prompt with the information about space working hours appears.

If the space has floor plan, it will be available under the info button.

You can choose the specific dates, and not only the date range when you plan booking.

You can also book a space as someone else by clicking Book as: and select a person from the available list.

This functionality works with no restrictions only for Admins. Company Admins will see the list of their company’s members. The person you choose in Book as, will automatically be a participant of the booking.

Optionally, you can add note for participants, booking title, and front desk notes.

When you select the dates, click Book.

 

When you create a booking, you will see the confirmation:

To check if your booking has been added successfully, go to Bookings section, All bookings tab, and verify if your booking is on the list.

When you click on the booking you want to edit, a you will see the panel on the right hand side. It allows you to modify your booking or repeat it (e.g. if you want to make similar booking for the same group of people).

Limited Availability

If the desk you want to book is not available, you will see the red color in its name

You can either select another desk or choose different time for the specific desk. When you click Show first available slot, our system will find you the time when this desk is available.

Known Issues

  1. The application displays the same dates that are unavailable for the desk, if the user chooses the option to find the nearest available date.

  2. When the user wants to filter the bookings for specific dates, the date format in the filters doesn’t match the date format in the booking details when they want to book a space.

  3. If the user chooses specific dates, removes some of them and wants to add and remove them again then the wrong day is removed.

  4. When you invite several participants to your booking and then remove one of them, all the other invited participants are removed too.

  5. One of the closed spaces is being returned as available to book.

  6. Sometimes the prices for bookings are inconsistent. They do not use booking points when necessary.

  7. When you set the minimum rental time to 1 day and the maximum rental time to 1 day, it causes issues with daily mode bookings because 1 day is considered as more than 24h.

  8. System picks the first available spot instead of date set when switching between daily and hourly mode.

  9. The unit of measure icon in booking preview is different than the one set in the space settings.
