Third-party URL
The mobile side of this work has been outlined below but will not be available until release v3.21. It would be recommended to wait until this release before using this new feature.
Background
We've had a number of requests in the past, both internally and via clients, to provide a platform for a Vendor to have a presence on our Marketplace but for end-users to instead be directed to view/transact on their catalogue of items via their third-party ordering system e.g. UberEats.
This feature enables this for both Standard and Deal Vendors.
VMS Configuration
Setting a Third-party URL can be done on the Vendor Settings page for either a Standard or Deal type Vendor.
Standard Vendor
The layout of fields has changed slightly on the Standard Vendor settings form. The Store name field is now included within the Store Details section as it makes more sense to include it there.
Note that a Third-party URL cannot be included as part of initial registration to the VMS i.e. it must be added to the Vendor profile once an account has been set up.
Deal Vendor
Web Changes
If a Vendor has a third-party URL configured on their account, it will be identified by means of a tag (Orders via third-party) on the respective profile/search result. When a user clicks on this it will launch a new tab to the URL specified in the VMS.
Note that this feature bypasses the Vendor page (example below) so you won't see any additional information like their address, trading hours etc.
Marketplace Page
In either the Vendors section or the Perks & Deals section depending on which type of Vendor profile it is (Standard or Deal Vendor).
Category View
If you click on a particular category, e.g. Coffee, and a Vendor is in that category then it will be displayed on their Vendor profile as per below:

Mobile Changes
If a Vendor has a third-party URL configured on their account, it will be identified by means of a tag (Orders via third-party) on the respective profile/search result. When a user clicks on this it will launch an embedded web browser to the URL specified in the VMS.
A Vendor on the Mobile app can be discovered within a category or via search.
Category View
Having selected a category on the main Marketplace screen, the list of Vendors will be shown. Similarly to Web, a tag (Orders via third-party) will be shown on the Vendor profile in place of the turnaround time:

Other Work
As part of this short sprint of work, we also addressed a few other items that had been requested:
A pre-existing bug where a Deal Vendor would lose all of its site associations if a Site Manager set it to Hidden
Some accompanying info text was added to the Restricted Hours feature in the VMS
A request to include the years, for restricted products, was added to both Web & Mobile (Mobile as part of the next release).
