Overview
The Maximum Creation Duration setting within Visitor Management has been developed to provide further flexibility around appointment scheduling.
It refers to the amount of time, from today, users can create appointments within the Equiem Visitor Management platform.
The Maximum Creation Duration can be applied at both a building level with the ability to override the default setting applied for a specific tenant within a site.
The Maximum Creation Duration value will allow for a selection range between 2-12 months to ensure we can support the lowest common denominator for usage as part of the recurring appointment features (2 x monthly recurring meetings).
Setup & Configuration
The default maximum creation duration will be set as 12 months.
The building maximum creation duration can be set within Equiem One by Property Managers through
Visitor Management > Settings > General Settings > Maximum Creation Duration
When default is selected, all appointments have a 1 year maximum creation duration.
When a custom value is selected, It is reflected against all newly created appointment for all tenants (Unless a company custom is available)

The tenant maximum creation duration can be set within Equiem One by Property Managers through
Visitor Management > Settings > Employees > Select Company > Maximum Creation Duration
When default is selected the module will use the setting reflected in the General Settings.
When a custom value is selected, it is reflected against all newly created appointment by that company’s users.

Workplace Managers are not able to override/set a Maximum Creation Duration themselves, they will see the following information dialogue box in order to raise a request for change to the Property Manager for their company’s visitor appointments.
