Creating a discount - Promotional Settings section [Site Manager]

Introduction

This document outlines the steps for configuring the promotional settings for a discount code in the Store Manager, as part of the discount code creation process.

Accessing Promotional Settings

• The Promotional Settings are part of the 'Create New Discount Code' form.

• Access this section after completing the initial sections of the form.

Configuring Promotional Settings

1. Promoting a Discount Code

• Decide whether to include the discount code in a promotional banner on the homepage of the site (both Web and Mobile app).

• Note: Only one discount code can be promoted at a site at any given time.

2. Handling Pre-existing Promotions

• If an active discount code is already being promoted, a warning banner will indicate the existence of a pre-existing promoted discount code.

• You must deactivate the current promotion before promoting a new discount code.

3. Setting Promotion Details

• Choose to promote the discount code by selecting the checkbox 'Promote on store page'.

• Enter a Title and Subtitle for the promotion banner, each with a maximum of 30 characters.
  
  

4. Previewing the Promotion Banner

• A sample image is provided to illustrate how the promotion banner will appear on the mobile app.

• Note: This is not a live representation but helps in visualizing the Title and Subtitle layout.
  
  

5. Navigating Through the Form

• Click 'Next' to collapse the current section and proceed to the next.
  
  

• Remember to save your progress periodically, especially if you don't plan to complete all sections in one sitting.
