Purpose of the Report
This document details the usage report for discount codes, allowing site managers to view and analyze the performance of both active and completed discount codes.
Accessing the Report
To access the report, select the 'Discount Codes' option from the side menu and then choose the 'Usage Report' option.
Features of the Usage Report
1. Overview of Usage
Provides a summary of usage for both active and completed discount codes.
Option to export data for reconciliation purposes.
2. Table Layout and Data
Table Columns: The report table consists of six main columns:
Created: Date when the discount code was created, ordered by most recent.
Discount Code: Name of the discount code.
Value: Indicates if the discount was a fixed amount or a percentage-based discount.
Usage Count: Shows how many times the discount code has been used.
Total Redemption: Total monetary value covered by the discount code.
Order Revenue: Extra revenue generated by orders using the discount code.
3. Export Function
An 'Export' button allows exporting all top-level data from the table.
4. Expanded Row View
Clicking the 'Plus' icon expands a row to reveal additional information:
Vendor: The participating vendor for the discount code.
Usage Count, Total Redemption, and Order Revenue for the expanded row.
5. Export for Expanded View
A separate export button is available for the expanded view, allowing export of all data from this expanded section.
