Adding a Building Receptionist

Building Receptionists must be registered users of the platform before you can add them as a receptionist on the Visitor Management System.

The below instructions guide you how to add a building receptionist provided you have already followed the above steps to create your building reception.

You can also add a receptionist as part of the creation of a building reception if required.

Important Note: Visitor Invitation Permissions

When setting up a Building Reception, please be aware that by default, building reception teams do not have the ability to invite visitors. This restriction is enforced for security reasons to ensure controlled access to the building.

If your setup only includes a Building Reception (without a separate Tenant Reception), you must create a Tenant Reception to be able to invite visitors. Do not add a receptionist to the Tenant Reception in this setup.
