Creating a Quick Link

Video Guide

Open the Content Management System:

  1. Head to one.getequiem.com and log in using your Equiem account

  2. Click the Content Management link from the toolbar on the left hand side

  3. This will open Iris, our Content Management System

To create a Quicklink, navigate to the All Content page, click the Add New button in the top left-hand corner and then select Quicklink on the dropdown menu. You will be taken to the following page:

Under Link title, enter the name of the Quick Link. This is the name that will appear on the platform. So for example, if the link directs to a meeting room, you might title the link ‘Book a Meeting Room’. There is a 50 character limit for Quick Links.

Under Link, enter the link you wish to direct the user to. To link to other content on the platform e.g. a News post or Deals Product, use the Blue Q Icon to create a Dynamic Link.

Under Icon select from the list of available icons and select an icon to accompany the Quick Link. You do not need to select an icon for the Quicklink to work – simply leave this field blank if you don’t wish to use an icon.

Hit Save and you will come to a page like this:

Tick the relevant box under the Sites section on the bottom right-hand corner, to choose which site the content will appear on. Click Save.

Set the date and time you want the Quick Link to go live on, under the Publish at section. And if you wish to set an expiry date for the Quick Link you can do so in the Expire on section.

Please note:

  • The expiry only applies to content that is set to ‘Published’

  • You can’t set a time to expire, only a date. The programmed process that runs this is at 11.30pm Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) each day so take note when setting an expiry date of the impact this may have on your expiring content in your region as it may expire on the following day. Below is an example of content being set to expire at 11.30pm UTC today and when that would expire in the example timezones:

If you’d like to segment the link to a specific user audience, use the Audience button to choose which segment your content should be shared with.

Scheduling
