Creating a Feedback Question

Open our Content Management System.

To create a Feedback question, click the Content dropdown in the top menu bar, and All Content in this drop-down. Click the Add New button and select NPS/Feedback.

You will be taken to this page:

Complete the fields as per the below:

  • Title - this is for internal reference only, and will not be seen by the end user. Name your question something that you’ll remember. This will be displayed in the Analytics Dashboards.

  • Format - Choose Feedback to create a new question. A reminder will display reminding you to limit the number of Feedback questions live on the site at a time.

  • Question -  Enter your preferred question in this field.

  • Unsatisfied / Satisfied Label - these two fields will autofill with Extremely Unsatisfied, and Extremely Satisfied, but can be overridden if needed.

  • Accent Colour - if you leave this field, the colour of the buttons on the live widget will default to your site’s primary colour. If you want to pick a different colour for the widget, you can use RBG, HSL or HEX formats.

  • Ask the User Again After  - choose the frequency you want the widget to reappear to the user. Feedback questions are designed to capture one off feedback so we recommend using the Don’t ask again option here.

    • Don't ask again: The user will never be shown it again

    • 6 months: The user will be shown it again after a 6 month period of when they first interact with it

    • 12 months: The user will be shown it again after a 12 month period of when they first interact with it

Hit Save and you will be taken to the review page. Tick the relevant box under the Sites section on the bottom right-hand corner, to choose which site the content will appear on.

Set the date and time you want the Feedback question to go live on, using the calendar widget, under the Publish at section.

Click Save at the top left to apply any changes you've made.

Once you have finished your Feedback question, select your site in the bottom right hand corner and change the status from ‘Draft’ to ‘Published’ on the top right-hand corner of the page.
