Creating a Single Post Notification

To create a Single Post Notification, click the Send Single Post Notification shortcut from the left hand menu on Equiem One. This will open the Single Post Notification creation page.

Alternatively, if you are already in the Content Management System, navigate to the Communications tab from the menu at the top of the page. Select Single Post Notification, then In Progress.

Here you can view any Drafts you have started, or to create a new notification click the Create button.

Select the site you want to create the Single Post Notification for from the drop-down list. Press Select.

Your draft notification will appear on the left-hand side with the site's branding applied to the header and footer.

To create your Single Post Notification:

  • Click Add Post and search for the desired post using key words and the filter where required

  • If you wish to change the post, you will first need to untick the post you have already added and press Save. Then click Add Post and select another post.

  • The subject field will be pre-populated from the post you have selected, however, you can amend this if you like. This will be the first thing shown in your recipient’s inbox so make sure it’s short, snappy and uses plenty of keywords. Note that there is a 120 character limit

  • Please note the post must already be live or scheduled to go live on your platform before the scheduled time/date you send your notification

  • To send a preview (test) of your Single Post Notification, type your email address in the Preview box and click Send Preview Email.

  • Note: You have the option to send the notification to all users of your platform, even if they have not subscribed to newsletters, you can do this by ticking ‘Send this email to all users irrespective of their subscription preferences’. Please note that this should only be used for critical building and operational updates, not for engagement.

  • Whilst you are drafting the notification, you can hit the Save Draft button in the bottom right-hand corner of the page. This allows you to come back later to amend your notification.

If you’d like to segment the content to a specific user audience, use the Audience button to choose which segment your notification should be shared with.

When you’re happy with the notification you can choose to Send Immediately or to Schedule in advance. You can also Save Draft to come back to a notification later.

If scheduling, in the pop-up box pick the date and time in the future when you'd like your Single Post Notification to send and click Apply and then Schedule.

The status in the top right hand corner will change to green and Scheduled.

You can Pause Scheduleup until 15 minutes before the scheduled time to edit your notification.
