Bookings FAQs
Q: Why is my resource not showing an available time to book?
A: This could be because the resource is set up with a slot and once the start time of this slot passes, that resource can’t be booked.
Q: How long does it take for a booking to sync with an Outlook calendar connection?
A: It can take up to 10 minutes
Q: If a proxy booking is made, will it block out the connected Outlook calendar?
A: Yes, there is no difference between a regular booking and proxy booking if an Outlook calendar is connected.
Q: If I clone a resource, what elements will not be cloned?
A: Segmentation, resource dependencies and calendar synch
Q: What does the message “no availability at this time” mean?
A: This relates to the time you are looking at the resource, not the time you are booking for. Please input the time you want to book the resource for to see availability.
Q: Why can’t a user see a resource?
A: It may be that you have segmented the resource and they are not in the audience. Check this by looking at the audience section in the bookings resource, and then cross referencing the audience with the user’s profile in User Settings.
Q: Why can’t a user make a booking for the future?
A: It may be that the maximum time before the end of the booking is too far in the future for their requirements. To check this:
Click on Bookings and select Resources Catalog
Click on the required resource and select Availability. Check the Maximum Time before End of Booking field.
